A REPLY TO CRITICISM. By Telegraph -Pre* Association Christchurch, Last Night. In answer to the telegram sent to Sir Francis Bell in regard to the Meat export Control Bill by the Canterbury Chamber of Commere’e the following reply has-been received by the Chamber: “I believe much the same language was used against the Sherman Act before that Act became law in the United States, but that Aet has proved effective and I trust your Chamber may have an agreeable surprise in the success of the New Zealand Aet.”
