CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Wigrani Shield for still water nfesaving was contested to-day. Eight teams entered, and the result was: Wellington A 1, Canterbury B 2, Canterbury A 3, Wanganui B 4, Otago 5, Wanganui A ladies' team 6, Napier 7. Wellington B was disqualified. Polo championship (third round).—Canterbury A beat Auckland by 7 goals to 5.
