ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLES. LAST x,IGHT OF “BUCKING THE TIJE.U” To-night concludes the local seaspn of Selznick’s latest powerful play of the Klondyke, “Bucking the Tiger,” featuring the strong man actor, Conway Tearle. The scene is the wild snowbound wastes of the Far North, where man takes the law into his own namh, unhampered by the red tape of legal procedure. The bill includes gazette, two-reel comedy and “The Branded Four” Nos. 11 and 12.

Buck Jones enacts the role of a peacemaker in his latest William Fox picture “Straight from the Shoulder,” which will open here to-morrow. Now everyone knows about what happens to peacemakers. But can you imagine what happens to Jones in the wild and woolly west when he attempts to make peace between “Wild Bill” Higgins and “Wild Bill’s” wife? Poor Jones. A big tworeel comedy and gazettes are also on the bill. EVERYBODY’S. A BIG LAUGH BOOM—“TWIN BEDS.” The big new feature at Everybody’s to-night will be a veritable laugh-feast, namely, Mr. and Mrs. Carter De Haven in the photo-play version of the great stage success “Twin Beds,” which is guaranteed as an antidote for gloom. Few films have been made that compare to this on<f in point of mirthful comedy, and you can rest assured that you are going to be happier for its visit at this theatre. In the very first place Carter De Haven or any other comedian never did succeed in portraying a character so funny as Signor Monti, the little Italian singer who rises to fame before he can get hw much bigger wife conquered. Moreover, no playwright ever devised a better series of excruciatingly funny situations than Margaret Mayo and Salisbury Field did in this excellent story. There is a strong supporting east in this feature, including William Desmond and others of note. Seats may be reserved at Collier’s.
