AMERICAN PREPARATIONS. IMPORTANT RESULTS EXPECTED. By Telegraph.—Preu Assn.—Copyright. New York, Feb. 3. It ia reported from Berkeley, California, tnat in order to teat the Einstein theory of relativity the University of California will eend an expedition to Australia and New Zealand to make astronomical observations of the eclipsq of the sun in September. Several astronomers from the famous Lick Observatory will also make th. trip. One member, Professor Trumpler, iR leaving on March 31, while th? remainder of the expedition will Rail on April 18. It is expected they vill locate themselves on the Ninety Mila Beach, and that highly important' scientific- results will accrue.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable As«n.
