Ldxton, W. Rumball, W. K. Morris, H. Street, J. H. Allan, J. R. Rowlands, E. Cole, G. M. Hamilton, F. Smellie and G. H. Bell. A DISQUALIFICATION. The Hawke’s Bay A. and P. Society wrote, advising that the committee had disqualified Miss V. I. MacMillan for life for competing at the spring show in October last in a class for which she was not eligible. The competition was for horses ridden by lady riders who had never ridden a first prize horse or pony in any jumping competition. Miss MacMillan entered, though she had ridden the first horse in the ladies’ hunters’ competition in the previous March. It was decided to'endorse the action of the Hawke’s Bay executive. MISCELLANEOUS. The president and secretary were authorised to deal with an application from the Taranaki Rifle Association for the use of the society’s dining rooms and appointments on the showgrounds on the occasion of the association’s annual meeting at the Waiwakaiho range on February 16 and 17. The matter of securing sufficient covering for the pig pens was left to the chairman.
The resignations of Messrs. R. E. Nicholson (Oxford Road) and L. R. Pepperell (Sentry Hill) from the membership of the society were accepted.
