DIRECT TO NEW PLYMOUTH.

BOAT LOADING AT HOME NEXT MONTH. Notification has been received by Messrs. Collett and Co., Ltd., that the steamer Makalla will shortly be loading at Antwerp, Hull and London for New Zealand ports including New Plymouth, Auckland, and Wallington. The vessel is expected to leave London on March 12. Already considerable interest has been evinced by Taranaki importers, and inquiries have been received regarding space for goods on the Makalla, the advantage of a direct service from England and the Continent being readily recognised.
