Due Port Chalmers Feb. 4. Due New Plymouth Feb. 22. THE RARAWA. Tie Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning, a day later than usual. The vessel will sail again at 8.30 to-night, and is due back here from Onehunga on Friday morning. THE PORT ALBANY. The rain has delayed the loading of the Port Albany, but according to advice received from Messrs. Collett and Co., Ltd., it is hoped to dispatch the vessel for Wanganui to-day. THE ZITA IDLE. On account of the heavy demand on wlarf labor it was impossible to proceed with the discharging of the Zita yesterday. It is uncertain when Die vessel will get away for Wellington. KAIKOURA STANDS OFF. Owing to the heavy weather yesterday morning the liner Kalkoura weighed anchor and stood to sea. It is probable the vessel will be betted late to-day,, when it is hoped to dispatch the Port Albany for Wellington, thus making a berth available. KAHIKA’S MOVEMENTS. Tbe Kahika (is expected to leave Dunedin to-day for Ne* Plymouth, via Oamaru, Tim- . arti, Lyttelton, Wellington and Picton. After discharging cargo at New Plymouth the Kali ilea goes to Nelson.
WAIKAWA TO-DAY. The Times states that the Waikawa was to leave Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth to continue discharging. The vessel will therefore probably arrive here to-day. It will be necessary to anchor the Waikawa to avyait the sailing of the Port Albany and the Kalkoura. PATEA REOPENED. Owing to the recent floods having deposited heavy snags and logs in the Patea River, the port has been closed to shipping for several days. These obstacles have now been removed, and the Hawera left Wellington at 5 o’clock on Monday evening for Patea. The Waverley was to follow her yesterday. MANUKA AT SYDNEY The Union Company have received cable advice that the Manuka arrived at Sydney at C a.m. on Monday from Wellington. The vessel will leave Sydney at 11 a.m. to-mor-row for Auckland. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. Tie Union Company advise that their transpacific cargo steamer Walotapu leaves Vancouver on February 13 for San Francisco to complete loading for Auckland. Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney. NIAGARA LEFT FIJI. Advice has been received by the Union Company that the R.M.S. Niagara, en route from Panama, arrived at Suva at 10.30 a.im. on Monday, and left there at 5 p.m. for Auckland, where she is due pn, Friday mornTHE SOMERSET. The Federal Line advise that the Somerset, now discharging New York cargo at Auckland, is to leave for Wellington, where she is due on Monday with 4800 tons of cargo to put but there.
