A CHANGE OF VENUE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Jan. 30. Mr. Justice Sim granted an application by the Crown for a change of venue in the case of James Hayne, a charge of abortion. The application was opposed on behalf of Hayne. The trial was fixed' for the ensuing sittings at Christchurch. \ A DISABLED SCHOONER. Auckland, Jan. 30. The schooner Malabat from Newcastle, bound for the Hawaiian Islands, put in here disabled. She encountered n hurricano on January 22 and lost her jib and mizzen mast. The foresail was split into ribbons. Next day the rudder broke while the vessel was rolling in a heavy swell.
