“CUT” IN SALARIES.
A PROPOSAL BY LABOR COUNCILS OF ACTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The following resolution was carried by the Canterbury Trades and Labor Council: “That the Alliance of Labor be urged to take immediate action in forming in each centre a council of action with a view to combating the cut in wages and the consequent lowering of the standard of living of workers, the executive of the alliance to take national charge of the operations.*’
