GOOD SALE AT DUNEDIN. MARKED ADVANCE IN PRICES. BIDDING VERY” SPIRITED. ) By Telecraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The second wool sale of the series was held here to-day, when 18,497 bales were offered. There was a large attendance of buyers, and the sale wja® tyip of the most satisfactory held Dunedin. Bidding was very spirited throughout and over ninety per cent, of the offering was sold under the hammer. Super half bred and crossbred wools Showed an appreciable advance over all previous auctions held in the Dominion this season. In the opinion of several leading buyers wools of this description were a penny to a penny halfpenny higher than the prices realised at the recent Christchurch sale. Medium and low sorts were fully on a par with Christchurch.
