LAWN TENNIS.

NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The New Plymouth club corripetitiona, which have been in progress for some Weeks now are drawing to a close, and some of the events have reached the semi-finals. In the ladies’ championship the draw for the semi-final is: Miss Brewster plays Miss Greatbateh and Miss Simpson plays Mrs. R. Brewster. For the men’s championship Archer plays Webster, and the winner of the Nicholson-Papps match will meet Dr. Allison. is expected that some of these matches will be played this afternoon.

Any member wfio has not paid the entrance fee for the competitions is requested to pay same to the club secretary immediately.
