THE HADFIELD—PADDON MATCH. By Telegraph—Press Assoclntlnn. Wanganui, Jan. 25. Supporters of Hadfield lodged a cheque for £ICO at the Herald Office this morning to cover a similar amount lodged bv G. Seifert at the Waikato Times Office, to bind a race with Paddon, to be rowed on the Wanganui River in the vicinity of the Easter holidays. Advice has been received that Floyd is looking after Paddon’s interests and will probably accompany him to Wanganui.
