SALE AT INVERCARCn-r BRISK BIDDING. By Telegraph.—Press ▲mocUUob. Invercargill, Last Night. At Invercargill wool sale to-day .14,096 bales were offered and nearly ail sold. The top price was 16jd for filie crossbred. Bidding was brisk. Loir conditioned pieces were firmer. Theb was little hogget wool offered. The range of prices is as follows:- - Fine half bred average llfd to 15}d, ii - ferior 9d to lljd; medium half bred a - erage 10|d to 13&d, inferior 8d to 10* ; coarse halfbred average 9d to IOJd, i • ferior 6|d to 9£d; fine crossbred sup< * 9d to lljd, average 7}d to 9d, inferli * 5d to 7Jd; medium crossbred auper 7 I to BJd, average 5Jd to 6fd, inferior 4 I to 5Jd; coarse crossbred super 6d 1 » B]d, medium 4Jd to ssd, inferior 3£d 1 > 4Jd; bellies and pieces halfbred low t medium 7d to BJd, crossbred ami thre quarterbred good to super 5d to , low to medium 3d to 4}d; crutchint L inferior to seedy lid to 3|d, locks hal bred 3sd to 4fd, crossbred lid to 2»d.
