A LONDON FOG
OMNIBUSES HELD UP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Received Jan. 23, 5.5 p.m. London, Jan. 22. A dense fog prevailed during the week-end in London. 'Buses were unable to run, and only the use of acetylene flares made it possible to run the trams. A collision occurred at New Cross, where one tram telescoped another, the driver and several passengers being seriously injured. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
