QUESTION OF CONTROL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Received Jan. 23, 10.15 a.m. , Sydney, Jan. 23. The Rev. Bowie, principal of the Tongan Training College, who is visiting Sydney, in a speech dealing with the New Hebrides, declared that mrseraoie as a condominium arrangement was, he preferred it to French control. He accused some of the French residents of participating in grog-selling and kidnapping. The French officials did not regulate their nationals, but their nationals ruled them, and ha’d them removed and replaced tat theft pleasure. If only the French administration would investigate the charges and rectify the known abuses the condominium would work.
