The Rarawa is due to arrive from Onebunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning with passengers and cargo. The vessel will sail again al 8.30 o'clock to-night on the return trip to Onekunga.

PORT ALBANY AT ANCHOR. The C. and D. liner Port Albany, which arrived off New Plymouth from Nelson early on Sunday morning and has been standing off the port, was boarded yesterday afternoon by the harbormaster (Captain W. Waller) and brought to anchor in the stream at 3.30 p.«n. Weather conditions permitting, she will be berthed at sir o’clock this morning. The Port Albany, which is a vessel of 8800 tons and 440 feet in length, is in charge of Captain A. Fishwick. He has the following officers associated with him: Chief, Mr. G. A. Hazelwood; second, Mr. Regden; third, Mr. A W. Jenkins; fourth, Mr. 8. Brufton. Engineers: Chief, Mr. R. G. Sl’erwell; second, Mr. W. .1. Balfolr; third, Mr. D. Duncon -, fourth, Mr. W. Morrison; fifth, Mr. B. Robinson; sixth, Mr. B. Cruickshanks; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. C. White; second, Mr ,1. Campbell; wireless operator, Mr. L. Brewn; second, Mr. O. White; cadets,. J. Nicholson, A. Newbury, T. Marsh, W. Kay, L. Aaiser, and G. James; chief steward, Mr. Hales.

The Port Albany, uhich is on ter first visit to New Plymouth, left London on November 10, and came via Auckland, Wellington and Nelson. The vessel will be in port for about five days. She has a quantity of cargo to discharge apd then takes on board a considerable quantity of frozen meat. KAHIKA FOR WELLINGTON. The Kahika, which arrived froun Lyttelton bn Sunday morning, berthed at the wharf at 10.3(i a.m. yesterday. The vessel discharged about 400 tons of general cargo, and took in a quantity of cheese for transhipment at Wel-

lington, sailing for that port at JO o’clock last night, KAIKOURA’S LOADING. The Federal steamer Kaikoura, which arrived at Wellington on Saturday morning from Oamaru, is to be dispatched to-day for New Plymouth to continue Homeward loading. ZITA FROM WELLINGTON. The Dominion states' that the auxiliary schooner Zita, will sail from Wellington tomorrow for New Plymouth with a full cargo. NGAKUT/. TO SAIL. The Ngakuta, which arrived from Greymouth on Saturday, Is expected to complete discharging the New Plymouth portion of her cargo of coal to-day, when she will sail for Wellington to put out the balance. TOFUA LEFT SUVA. Advice has been received by the Union Company that their island steamer Tofua arrived at Apia (Samoa) at noon on Wednesday and sailed on Thursday evening for Tongan ports and Suva. MAKURA LEFT SUVA. Advice has been received by the Union Company that the F M.S. Makura. arrived at Suva at 6 a.m. on Saturday from Auckland and sailed again at 1 p.m. on the same day for Honolulu and Vancouver. LEITRIM LEAVES PANAMA. The Federal liner Leitriim, which left Liver pool on December 31, cleared Panama oi January 16. The vessel is due at Auckland on February 8, and should reach Wellington about a week later. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICES. Waiotapu—From Sydney, was due at Vancouver on Friday last. She will load at Pacific coast ports for Auckland, Napier, Wellington. New Plymouth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. Waitemata —Sailed from Auckland on Friday, January 13, for Papeete, San Francisco, ai.'d Vancouver. She will load at Pacific coast ports in February for Auckland, Lyttelton, I'unedin. Melbourne and Sydney. Waikawa—From San Francisco, arrived at Auckland yesterday. She will proceed thence to Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. t Waihemo—ls now loading at Pacific coast ports for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. Wairuna —To leave Newcastle February for Pacific coast, where she will load during March for New Zealand and Australian ports. Hauraki—ls expected to load at Pacific Coast ports during Anril for New Zealand and Australia.
