After falling behind to the extent of 1300 early in the week FaTkiner is overhauling Newman. The scores are: Newman 14,667; Falkiner 14,533. Breaks over three hundred are: Newman 648 and 319; Falkiner 466, 372 and 316. Smith is out-playing Inman with a. succession of good breaks, including 808, 416, 366 and eight others over two hundred. During the week Inman’s best were 303, 179 and 163. The scores are: Smith 14,668; Inman 10,765. Six heats were played in the amateur championship of two thousand. Fry, the holder of the title, is below form, but easily won his heat against Forster by 2000 to 1463. Received Jan. 23, 12.10 a.m.

London, Jan. 22. Smith is 16,000 and Inman 11,123. Newman and Falkiner were both in ■splendid form on the final day. Falkiner secured a slight lead, which Newman regained with breaks of 494 and 313. MeConachy won his second match against Nelson at Leeds, scoring 3000 (including breaks of 363, 209, 141, 300, 138 and 128) to Nelson’s 2953.
