A FIGHT PROMOTER.
ARREST ON SERIOUS CHARGE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 22, 11.5 p.m. New York, Jan. 21. Tex Rickard has been arrested and charged with criminally assaulting a fifteen-year-old girl. Two other girls, twelve' and eleven years of age, are held as material witnesses. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children brought the charges. Rickard pleaded not guilty, and was released on a thousand dollars bail.
