STRENGTHENING THE LAW. By Telegraph. T’re«« Association Wellington, Last Night. In the House this afternoon the Minister of Justice said a Bill was und?r consideration dealing with an amendment of the Crimes Act in the direction of affording further protection to women and girls as desired by various women’s petitions, but he could not say at present whether it would be put through this session.
