SAMOAN TIME.

A CORRECTION MADE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Jan. 18. Yesterday’s Samoan time message should have read: “New Zealand proposes to alter the international day line to bring Samoa west of the line and make the time uniform with New Zealand. It is now a day behind. The Admiralty approves, but the alteration would make a day s difference between New Zealand and American time at Samoa, causing obvious complications in the islands. Therefore decision has been postponed.”—United Service.
