IL A communique states that the Supreme Council approved of the-estab-lishment of an international syndicate! with affiliated national syndicates, to undertake the economic reconstruction of Europe and secure the co-operation of all nations in restoring normal prosperity- , i xt. *. The Council accepted a proposal that a committee composed of two British, one French, one Italian, one and one Japanese representative should immediately be constituted to examine the scheme and proceed with the organisation of the international and affiliated syndicates, and report to the Genoa conference. —Aus.-N.Z.
