SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS.

YESTERDAY’S PROCEEDINGS. Last night a discourse was preached by Pastor F. Knight, of Australia, to a full tent, his subject being, “Righteousness by faith.” The speaker began with a passage of scripture found in Gen. 7—5, bringing Noah to view as a preacher of righteousness by faith, a* it was by faith that he built an ark in response to God’s commandment. It was shown that righteousness when deliniated is “right doing,” according to the commandments, and *that all sin is unrighteousness. Christ's righteousness consisted of the law being written in His heart, and under the new covenant the law is written in the iFeliever's

heart. This shows that the integrity of the law has been in no wise lessened by the ushering in of a new dispensation. The meeting closed with an earnest exhortation to the hearers to secure that perfect righteousness which is by faith, and which is witnessed to by the perfect law of God.
