HAWERA A. AND P. SHOW.

THIS MONTH’S FIXTURE. Farmers throughout Taranaki should bear in mind that entries for the Hawera A. and P. Show, which is to be held this year on January 25 and 26, close with the acting secretary (Mr. M. C. Creighton) at 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 14. In order to facilitate the work of preparing the catalogue entries should be forwarded as early as possible. Schedules have been freely distributed throughout the province, but anyone who has not yet received one has only to communicate with Mr. M. C. Creighton, of Hawera, and one will at once be posted. The schedule is well worth perusal, as it is a very comprehensive one, the prize money totalling £BOO in cash, in addition to nine valuable trophies. The prize money for the competitions totals £l4O, of which £65 is allocated to the Egmont Championship jump, decided on the second day.
