WELCOME AT RANGOON.

There was no mistake about the warmth and sincerity of the welcome the Prince of Wales received from the native population of Rangoon as he drove through three miles of streets crowded with happy Burmese. No less than the lother elements this mixed population beamed on him, and their friendliness went straight to the heart. The city was gaily decorated, and the official functions were of a brilliant character. The Prince was highly pleased with the warmth and . sincerity of his reception. Indian agitators tried to arouse opposition to the visit, but completely failed
