The Daily Express’ Berlin correspondent states* that Paul Betz, a madman, lan amok with daggers in the fashionable quarter as the crowds were leaving the theatres. Five women and seven men were etabbed before the police fired revolvers and so wounded Betz that they overpowered him. Several of the wounded are in a critical condition, and a policeman is dead.
