ANONYMOUS ACCUSATIONS.

Paris, Jan. 2.
A reign of terror has been established in the town of Tulle, owing to wholesale anonymous letters, which have continued since August. At least a hundred letters signed “The Tiger’s Eye” hjtvo been pushed under the doors of houses, accusing the husbands or wives of adultery.
In some cases the details are so circumstantial that homes have been wrecked and two men have gone mad owing to anxiety. Big rewards are offered and special Parisian detectives are engaged, but they failed to trace the writers, who are apparently in a gang. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
