A DEFICIT ON NINE MONTHS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright London, Jan. 2. The nine months’ revenue is £676,831,000, and the expenditure £739,980,000, a deficit of £63,159,000. Revenue decreased £211,972,000, and expenditure decreased £102,609,000. The chief decrease in revenue was in stamps £7,420,000; Customs £<2,848,000; excess profits duty (which was inoperative except in the case of arrears) £1’26,640,000. The chief increases are: Income tax l £16,818,000, and the corporation profits tax £19,290,000.
