DRAMATIC CEREMONY.
TROTSKY EX-COMMUNICATED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. London, Jan. 2. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Express describes a dramatic ceremonial at Ekaterinoslav Synagogue, when the Rabbi, at the request of Trotsky’s father, expelled Trotsky from Judaism, calSng down curses and eternal damnation upon him. Trotsky’s aged and half-blind father was led to the altar by his sons and son-in-law and solemnly charged his son with being an enemy of Judaism and a curse to humanity, declaring that every Russian in the entire world was his ; witness. Trotsky’s mother fainted during the proceedings, but revived and joined her other relatives in disowning Trotsky eternally.
