THE BUTTER SEASON.
INCREASED PRODUCTION. NEW ZEALAND STOCKS LOW. The excellence of the present dairying season is indicated by the figures from the grading stores published in the latest issue of the Abstract of Statistics. The butter figures are:— Sent out Received- For Shipment. Cwt. Cwt. Nov., 1921 150,514 176.157 Nov., 1920 06,806 61,543 Four months, IS2I 336,325 285,239 Four months, 1920 219,433 98,445 The statistics for chee.-i ire:— , Sent Out Received. -'or Shipment. Cwt. Cwt. Nov., 1921 172,560 156,860 Nov., 1920 187,093 30,579 Four months, 1920 314,175 248,147 Four months, 1921 359,510 259,137 The butter in store at the end of November was only 69,776 cwt., compared with 137,337 cwt, at the same date last year.
