SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LOAN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Dec. 30. South Australia Is underwriting a three million 6 per cent. loan. HOPEFUL WOOL PROSPECTS. London, Dec. 30. Charles Balme and Company, In their annual review of the wool trade, state that it is probable that during 1922 the consumption of wool in this country will expand. Already there are some evidences of an Improvement in trade which should lead to a distinct revival of exports of woollen goods. The outlook is by no means unfavorable, provided that the political situation on tte Continent improves and foreign exchanges become more stable. The present fashion favors the finer classes of wool, but it would .appear Improbable that the present wide disparity .between the prices of fine and coarse wools can continue for any length of time, and a distinnt increase in the demand for the latter seems likely in the nea’’ future. FROZEN MEAT. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of December '29 : “Frozen meat: Owing to the holidays, small business doing. Prices are unehanged.”
