FALLING OFF RECORDED. DEATHS AND MARRIAGES FEWER. The number of births in New Plymouth during 1921 was 468, or over 80 less than in the previous year, which was a record with 555. There were less deaths last year, the number being 174, as against 194 in 1920. Marriages show a falling off, but the proportion of marriages by the registrar remains about the same.
