ECONOMIC RECONSTRUCTION. TASK FOR THE ALLIES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 30, 11.15 p.m. Paris, Dec. 30. M. Briand, speaking in the Senate on Europe’s reconstruction, said Russia must not be neglected, and must not be allowed to fall under the economic control and subsequent political control of Germany. He added: “We decided in London that the task could otily be accomplished by a Franco-British agreement, with a consequent agreement embracing all the Allies. The matter will be fully discussed at Cannes, where America will participate in the discussion.”
