BOXING.

STRATFORD TOURNAMENT, The boxing tournament to be held at Stratford on race night is creating great interest tnroughout the district. The Stratford Club have gone to great length to make it the best staged in Taranaki, and have been fortunate in securing the services of the Fourth Wellington Regimental Band to play on that evening, so patrons will be in for a musical as well as a boxing treat. The demand for seats is very keen, and patrons who wish to secure oeats are advised to book at Wilson Bros.’ at once, as the booking closes on Saturday next at 8 p.m. Both principals In the big fight are in great form, and are confident of winning The amateurs are all going hard, and some great bouts are assured.
