GERMAN REPARATIONS.
STATEMENT BY FRENCH PREMIER. By TsiexrapU.—Press Assn —CooyTlgh* Paris, Dec. 25. In the Chamber. M. Briand. replying to a questioner, emphatically said that the Franco-Bril.sh Entente was complete and coMolidateii as far as possible. He deelated that there was no question of revising the Versailles Treaty or recasting the conditions of the payment of reparations at the forthcoming conference, and also that Air. lAoyd George never though: of impairing French interests. ALLEGED NEW TERMS. Paris, Dec. 26 A telegram from Berlin states on good authority that M. Briand and Mr. Lloyd Geoige* have readied an agreement regarding Germany’s payments. Instead of yearly payments of 2000 million marks Germany will pay 500 millions. The tax on exports remains. Britain accepts the Wiesbaden teims on condition that France accepts the new proposal- *for the stabilisation of the mark.
