CONSTABLE SEVERELY INJURED. A BATHER MISSING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last. Night. I A motor lorry crossing the Grafton bridge got out of hand and crashed on to °the footwalk, pinning Constable Bruton, who was passing, against the wall of the bridge. His leg was very severely crushed and will probably have to be amputated. Arthur Taylor went for a bathe at Rivethead on Saturday morning, but has not .been seen since. His clothes were found on the bank. The missing man could not swim. He was employed in a city restaurant.
