CARTERTON TEACHER'S CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 23. The Minister of Education has determined to hold a public inquiry into Miss Park’s case at Carterton. Mr. A. D. Thomson, Assistant Public Service Commissioner will preside, associated with a headmaster of experience. Mr. Parr says the inquiry conducted by the board really put the school committee and the department on trial, not the teacher and that it was not conducted fairly or judiciously.
