EVERYBODY’S. “DORALDINA” TO-DAY AND TO-NIGHT. In the big “Pyramid” production at Everybody’s to-day at 2 and to-night at 7.45. Doraldina portrays the role of a child of nature in “The Woman Untamed,” which contains dances by this well-known artiste, whose dancing has obtained for her a unique distinction. An excellent caste, splendid and picturesque photography of the South Sea Islands, the acting of Doraldina, who invests her role with all the Spanish fire of her dance performances, are all combined in a production unique in its appeal and haunting in its excellence—a photoplay you won’t forget. The bill also shows the showmen’s reception to Annette Kellerman in Wellington last week, and includes Gazette and Christie comedy. SPECIAL ATTRACTION. MONDAY AND TUESDAY. The big race nights special bill for Everybody’s on Monday and Tuesday next is headed by a Paramount production, “The Cradle of Courage,” featuring Wm. S. Hart. Bill Hart is said to give easily the most forceful screen interpretation of his career in “The Cradle of Courage,” his latest Paramount-Art-craft production. In addition, this picture shows the rugged star in still another new role, that of a policeman. But before being an upholder of the law he is a crook, and it is only after a, cruel and unnerving experience that he becomes a knight of the baton. The action of the story takes 'place around the Barbary coast of California, which is regarded as the toughest quarter in the world. Supporting the star < s Anna Little, whose screen re-appear-anee should be pleasantly received by thousands of film fans who have admired. her work in Paramount-Artcraft productions. Thomas Santschi and Gertrude Claire are also in the caste. The bill includes gazette, Travel film and the big Larry Semon avalanche of fun, “Solid Concrete.”
THE PEOPLE'S. CONWAY TEARLE IN “THE .FIGHTER.” To-day at 2 p.m. and to-night at 7.45 p.m. the Selznick attraction, “The Fighter,” featuring Conway Tearle, will be presented at the People’s. This is a rattling good story, conceded to be Tearle’s best to date, and shows the biggest tram smash ever filmed. The bill includes gazette, comedy and the “Branded Four.” Owing to a big First National super special being booked for Monday (race night), this programme will show to-day (Saturday) only. ; SPECIAL BILL MONDAY ONLY. NORMA TALMADGE IN “PASSION FLOWER.” This year’s big special race night attraction, showing night only, is the First National de luxe production, “Passion Flower,” featuring lovely Norma Talmadge. This picture is taJcen from the stage play of the same name, which is written by the most noted of Spanish dramatists. The picture has been produced on a lavish scale, and is one that will be received in the art of motion pictures as a milestone. A fine array of supports are also on the bill.
