BANNER COMPETITION. The second round of the banner competition in the northern division of the Taranaki Bowling Centre will commence on Saturday, January 14, and subsequent games will be played on February 4. 11, 18 and 25, and March 11 and 18. The order of the games will be the same as in the first round, but the greens will be reversed. ELTHAM v. STRATFORD. The Eltham bowlers were defeated in the banner match with the Stratford club at Stratford on Thursday. The scores were as follow
