THE MEAT POOL.
MAY OPERATE THIS SEASON. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Replying to a question in the House this afternoon Mr. Masse}’ said it was intended that the meat pool should apply to this season's meat if it was possible to do so. A conference of producers would probably be held about January 9 or 10. The scheme was a big one, and could not be rushed.
