By Telegraph —Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. The Heathcote-Williams Shield match between Christchurch and Palmerston North Boys’ High Schools was continued to-day. Palmerston (defenders) made a grand total of 363. Christrhurct made 195 in their first innings and in their second Innings they have lost one wicket for 146. 'Hie challengers require 24 to win. NORTH TARANAKI ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the North Taranaki Cricket Association was held on Monday evening in the Soldiers’ Club, Mr. E. Whittle presiding. It was decided that the senior match, North v. South Taranaki be played at Hawera on December 31. It was also decided to arrange a match with the South Taranaki junior representatives for the same day, tl’is match to be played in New Plymouth. Mr. C. O. Berg has been appointed sole selector for the junior team. Endeavor is being made to arrange a match in New Plymouth with the Nelson representatives, who will be on tour In the North Island during the holidays.
