TROTTING. NEW BRIGHTON MEETING. CONCLUDING DAY’S RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The New Brighton Trotting Club’s summer meeting was concluded to-day. Ti e weather was fine, but a nor’-wester was blowing, making the conditions most uncomfortable. The attendance was not up to the usual standard. The totallsator handled £30,258, making £59.853 for the meeting, compared with £77,927 last year. Results : SECOND AMATEUR HANDICAP.—Ivy Irvington (G. F. Robinson) 1, Eric Rothsebrlld ” Mary Galindo 3. Scratched: Bob Dillon’ White Lupin, Fqjest Girl. Won by a length, 100 yards between second and third Time 3mln 36 3-ssec. SHIRLEY HANDICAP.—Nigbboin (B. Jarden) 1, Rose Peters 2, Mangoutu 3. Scratched: Roi Alto. Won by six lengths, four lengths between second and third. Time, 4min 55 l-ssec. WAIMAIRI HANDICAP.—Gleaming (W. Warren) 1, Trooper Dillon 2, Vice-Admiral 3. All started. Won by four lengths, six lengths sec WeeU SeCOnd and third ’ Tlme ’ 4min 34 3-5 SUMMER HANDICAP.—WiId Thyme (U. E. Jones) 1, Leila Denver 2, Silver Locanda 3. Scratched: Logan Wood. Won by four lengths, ten lengths separating second and third. Time 3min 35 l-ssec. NEW BRIGHTON TROTTING HANDICAP.— Jack McKinney (B. Jarden) 1, Harold Child 2, Whispering Willie 3. All started.
