INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS. B GRADE. PARK v. NEW PLYMOUTH. In the B grade of the inter-club competitions on Saturday New Plymouth defeated the Park team, winning twelve out of 18 matches, and 136 games to 104. Particulars of the scoring are:— MEN’S SINGLES. King 9; Boswell and Person 9 v. Wynyard and Valentine 6; Newall and Menon 9 v. Atkinson and Etherington 7. LADIES' DOUBLES. Miss Frethey and Miss Ludlow 6 v. Miss Elliott and Miss Winfield 7: Miss Honnor and Mrs. Bosworth 2 v. Mrs. Nicholson and Miss Rockel 7. COMBINED DOUBLE'S. Bosworth and Miss Fretkey 6 v. Totals.—Park 104, New Plymouth 136. A GRADE. NEW PLYMOUTH v. HAWERA. The match between New Plymouth and Hawera, which was to have taken place at Hawera, was postponed on account of the unfavorable weather conditions. This will probably be played on January 14, and it is likely that the second round of the interclub matches will also be fixed for that date.
