BOUNDARIES PROBLEM. . By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright London. Dec. 16. Sir James Craig has arrived to see Mr. ChamberlaS the boundaries question. “The present ratio,” he asserts, •‘seems to throw us back to where we were in 1914.” The disturbances in Belfast continued this morning. Two men were shot while going to the shipyards, one fatally, and three others wounded. Two bombs were thrown in the Marrowbone district, but no one was injured. The Voice of Jjabor, the organ of Irish Labor, writes: “Whatever befall, let us keep our industrial ranks unbroken. This is not to say an individual trade unionist must suppress his views or be denied the right to act according to his convictions. Quite the contrary, but he should keep such speech and action outside the unions as organisations. We write thus because we know there are many to champion the national cause and there are few to champion Labor’s cause or devote themselves wholly to the working classes.” The House of Lords negatived Lord Northumberland’s amendment by 166 to | Tn the House of Commons Mr. Chamberlain. replying to a question, said | tl it the matter of an amnesty to Irish : political prisoners would bo considered if the agreement was ratified by both sides.
