STRATFORD DEFEAT AVON. A banner match wa§ played on the Stratford green on Thursday* between Stratford and Avon, the former winning by 162 to 93. Good weather prevailed for the match, and the green was in splendid order. At the conclusion of play Mr. J. Masters, president of the visiting club, congratulated Stratford on their win, and also on the splendid state of their green. Mr. Skoglund responded.
