SALE IN PROCLAIMED AREA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Taumarunui, Last Night. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, before Mr. F. W. Platts, S.M., John and Mary McKenzie were charged with keeping liquor for sale in a proclaimed area. John McKenzie was convicted and fined £5O, while the cases against his wife were dismissed. The defending counsel notified his intention of appealing.
