The Bank of New Zealand has received tbe following advice from its London office under date December 2 : Butter. —Weaker, owing to heavy arrivals; 196 s to 200 s per cwt. Cheese.—Quiet. New season’s colored, 100 s to 104 s per cwt.; new season’s white, 102 s to 106 s per cwt. Frozen Meat.—Market depressed owing to heavy arrivals all kinds. Prices have declined about to per lb. all round. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., feport having received the following cablegram from their London house under date December 3: “Sheepskin sales: 6000 bales of sheepskins offered, 95 per cent. sold. As compared with last sales' closing rates, merino combing skins, merino clothing skins, and fine crossbred pieces are per cent, lower, short-woolitd and shorn pelts 10 per cent, lower, crossbred coarse and medium 10 to 15 per cent, lower.” Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date December 2 : “Butter.—Market weaker owing to increased arrivals, and further decline probable. Danish, 210 s to 2145; Australian, unsalted, finest, 190 s to 1965, salted 168 s to 1765, secondary 130 s to 160 s, inferior 100 s to 120 s. New Zealand, finest. 196 s to 200 s. Government prices unaltered. “Cheese. —Market very quiet. New Zealand colored, new make, 100 s to 104 s, old 90s to 9Ss, white 102 s to 106 s; Australian, colored. 90s to 925, white 96s to 104 s; Canadian, C.i.f. quotation, 108 b." BANK OF AUSTRALASIA. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At an extraordinary general meeting of the proprietors of the Bank of Australasia in London a resolution was adopted a-uthorising the subdivision of 100,000 existing shares of £4O each into 800,000 shares of £5 each. The proprietors’ registered holdings have been altered accordingly, and the reserve liability is now £5 per share instead of £4O as formerly. INGLEWOOD SALE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) At Newton King, Ltd.’s mart sale on Saturday there was a good number of pigs offered and prices were slightly firmer than of late. Weaners realised from 6s to 14s. slips 16s to 19s, stores 25s to 32s 6d. A 15-month old grade Jersey heifer sold for £4 10s; Is 4d each was paid for a line of rimu fence posts. A fair muster of poultry sold readily. Bantams 9d to lOd, hens up to 4s, chicks Sd to Is 9d, ducks 4s Cd, ducklings Is 9d to 2s 9d, hen and brood of chicks 12s 6d.
