A BOY ELECTROCUTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ■* Auckland, Dec. 5. James M‘Bride, aged !), a son of Charles M‘Bride, of Takapuna, was electrocuted at a bparding school in Te Aroha through touching an electric wire on the schoolroom roof. A ‘FARMER’S SUICIDE. Auckland, Dec. 5. The dead body of Arthur Taylor, farmer of Mangere, was found in a cave with the head blown off by dynamite. A fuse and detonator caps were alongside. At the inquest the verdict was suicide, evidence pointing to worry due to illness. , INJURED WHILE MOTORING. Auckland, Dec. 5. A motor-car containing five persons fell over a bank at Brown’s Bay, and Augustus Aley, 75, his wi-fe, 74, and Albert Sinclair, 29, were removed to hospital rather severly injured. The others escaped injury though the car fell ten feet and turned three somersaults throwing the occupants in all directions. MAN FALLS OVERBOARD. Christchurch, Dec. 5. When the Canopus was two hours out from Westport on Saturday afternoon a member of the crew fell overboard when there was a high wind and a fairly heavy sea running. When the alarm * was given a boat was lowered and the man picked up in an exhausted condition. From the time of the alarm till the man was placed on board again only 15 minutes had elapsed.
