TECHNICAL COLLEGE STEEPLECHASE. DETAILS OF THE EVENT. The New Plymouth Technical College steeplechase was held yesterday afternoon. Starting from the college, the course taken was through Pukekura Park to Vogeltown, thence along Brooklands Road by a branch to the Avenue Road on the far side of the racecourse. Here the track led in a straight line across the racecourse to the path leading into the park, and from there back to the college. The course was approximately 3’/i miles. Good times were made, especially considering the hilly nature of the country and obstacles in the nature of fences to be negotiated. The results are: SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. W.
