ATHLETICS.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. EVENING MEETING NEXT WEEK. The date of the evening meeting recently decided on by the New Plymouth Amateur Athletic Club has now been announced as Thursday of- next week. Tiie great success which attended the club’s inaugural meeting in October justifies a hope that good entries will be forthcoming on this occasion. The programme is, of necessity, a short one, anti the events It includes are 100 yards, 440 yards, and one imile. The ground at rhe Boys’ High School is again available,, and the meeting commences at 6 o'clock. Intending competitors should note that entries close cn Saturday, with Mr. L. B. Webster, P.O. Box 47.
