Or dera for papers may also be left with. them. THE SHOW TAKINGS. November 30. At the recent show held by the Stratford A. and P. Association the sum of £260 was taken at the gate. The receipts for the luncheon room totalled £ll4, and for the tea kiosk £137. The weight-guess-ing realised £2O, and £4B has been received as rent for space on the ground, with several other amounts still to come from this source. BOWLING. It has been found necessary to alter the Stratford Bowling teams for the banner match, as Eltham has entered five rinks. The Stratford teams will be as follow-: Patterson, Carryer, Salmon, Herries (s) ; Sanderson, Martin, Hillock, Lyons (s) ; Porritt, McPherson, Songster, McDonald (s); White, Butcher, A. A. Thompson, J. S. McDonald (s) ; Finlay, Smart, McMillan, Cottier (s). Colts’ rink: Hunt, Jones, Clarke, W. H. H. Young (s). At the Avon green on Saturday a match will be played between Stratford and Avon. The following will represent Stratford: White, Roche, Curtis, Allen (s) ; Fopkes, C. Thompson, Paterson, Harris (s) ; Carman, Woodhead, Smart, Sangster (s). BURGLARY AT MIDHIRST. Last night the Midhirst Co-operative Dairy Factory’s store was broken into, and a small sum of money was taken. It is reported that the burglar entered the store through a window. An Albufi Portable Typewriter and carrying case for seven pounds is offered by Wilson Bros., Broadway, Stratford ; also a new Corona—the last word in portable typewriters —for seventeen pounds. Call early and see these machines.
